Staying at a healthy weight should be easy.  Eat good food most of the time and exercise regularly, that’s pretty much it, right? So why do we have an obesity epidemic on our hands, with 38% of the population projected to be classified as obese by 2025*.  Everyone knows the significant health risks of being an unhealthy weight, so what’s going on here?  Why do some people find it so tough?

Fad diets and crash diets don’t work, simple as that.  They are just not sustainable long-term solutions.  The weight comes off and then usually goes straight back on again.  They are difficult and can be detrimental to your health.  What you eat should be an easy and enjoyable part of your daily life, this is also true for exercise.  Why do so many people struggle with maintaining a regular programme of simple exercise?  Has your gym card not seen the light of day since last January?
